The F&W Brand is constantly providing its customers with top quality skin products. But unfortunately, some people exploit our customers by providing them fake products with our branding and logo on it. This usually happens when you buy from somewhere except our official website. The best way to avoid this is that you buy all the products directly from us, but if for some reason you can’t, we will today guide you upon how to distinguish between fake and original F&W products. You need to check all these hints before you open the packing so you can return the product and buy the original one.
Count the Flowers
When buying the skin protector gel, the first thing you need to notice is on the side of the box. Between the barcode and the expiry date, there are flowers with 7 petals and a small circle in the center. The flowers are placed in a visible curvature and a recognizable pattern of one small flower accompanied by a large flower. When buying the skin protector serum, you must see that the barcode is on the bottom and the expiry date right below it. Plus, there should be 2 flowers with the logo with 7 petals and a circle, one flower would be greater than the others. On the box of the skin protector lotion, there have to be 3 flowers in a star-like pattern and one flower below the barcode. If you can’t recognize this exact pattern, be wary that the product is fake and don’t buy it!
Check out the logo
Another important factor to notice is that there is a difference in the appearance of the logo on the original and fake products. You will see that on the original product, the face of the woman and her head has a lot of white part in it, and the white is quite bright. But on the flip side, things are not the same for fake products. In a fake product, the white part would be more of dull color and would also be less in quantity as it would be dominated by the blue. The logo is usually either very large or very small on the fake products and this should be very easy for you to notice if you have been using our original products lately. Another sign is that on the top there is a french statement: Je protege ma peau and this would be translated at the bottom of the logo “I protect my skin”.
Look for Alphabets on Barcode
Just flip the box to its side and read the barcode. Of course, you do not have to read the black and white lines on it, you should read the numbers on them. On either side, there would be a number visibly distinguished than the others. Moreover, there would be no alphabets anywhere near the code. If you find any alphabet on it or can not identify the distinguished numbers, don’t use the product as it is most probably fake.
On the product
Once you are satisfied with all the features on the box, open it and bring out the tube. This doesn’t stop over here as you have to look for some identification on the tube/bottle as well. The base of the skin protector gel tube will be folded and sealed, but you have to open that white plastic part. Underneath it, you will see that there is a wide vertical black line/tag on it. Which when folded, is completely invisible to sight. However, the skin protector serum comes in a bottle and at its bottom, you can see the word LOT with a number beside it, but, there’s still more to it. There would be a small triangle right below the word LOT. On the skin protector lotion, there would be PP written in a circle at the bottom. A triangle just as on the serum, but there would also be a rectangular cavity with PAT written in it. There would be 3 flowers on the front and one on the back.
The Company Authorization
Behind the box of every product you must check if the company has written all the relevant details which would be in such a pattern:

After you’ve unsealed
If all the requirements are met successfully and you do not find any notion toward piracy of our product, we still want to make sure that your skin is protected from those damaging products. Hence, we suggest you check out the product as well. If it is the skin protector gel the content should be pink, please discontinue use if you get it in any other color. If it is the skin protector cream, then it should be white, not pink. Having some other color might indicate that it is expired or fake. When talking about the lotion, make sure that it is the right consistency. Our lotion is not that liquidy but it is more like a thick fluid. The color should not be clear white but should be slightly pink so that you can not see through it.
Make sure that you buy the original product as the fake ones will cause you to waste your money. Furthermore, they might contain harmful substances that can damage your skin and cause numerous other problems as well. Often containing mercury in them, these products can contaminate your bloodstream and cause problems such as high blood pressure, numbness, fatigue, and sensitivity to light. But our products will never cause any such problems. If you bought the product from some third party and are not seeing the results or getting problems, please stop using it immediately. The company will compensate only the products bought directly from the website and will not be responsible for products bought from third parties.
